Cherokee County Fails To Advance In Alabama Census Bowl

According to the latest update, Cherokee County did not advance to the final round of the 2020 Alabama Census Bowl after being eliminated by Pike County in the Elite 8. 

The Final 4 Round will include Sumter and Choctaw Counties in the West and Macon and Tallapoosa Counties in the East. 

Winners will get monetary rewards based on the final standings with the Elite Eight runner-ups each getting $20,000, Final Four runner-ups earning $30,000 each, the second place taking $45,000.

The Census Bowl runs through Sept. 30, the last day households across the nation can take part in the 2020 Census.
