One of the more attractive stories about this team is the Johnson sisters, Mary Hayes and Laney Kate. The younger of the sisters Mary Hayes is getting the opportunity to compete with her older as a 7th grader at Centre Middle School in two relay events.

We spoke to Mary Hayes about the experience –

If you would like to make a monetary contribution to the CCHS Track and Field Team you can call Katherine Johnson at Centre Elementary School at 256-927-3302.

We will be following the State Track Meet and will post updates on our website at weisradio.com and also on the Buttram, Hawkins and Hopper Scoreboard Show Facebook page.
