Cherokee County Now Has 6 Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19, No Deaths Reported

The Alabama Department of Public Health has confirmed a 6th case of COVID-19 in Cherokee County. The Department of Public Health reports that there have been a total of 48 people tested in Cherokee County with no deaths reported from illness.

Across the area, there are 21 confirmed cases in Calhoun County with 130 tested and no deaths, 13 cases in DeKalb County with 121 tested and no deaths and 27 confirmed cases in Etowah County with 202 tested and three reported deaths, two from illness.

Statewide there are 1,633 confirmed cases, 44 reported deaths with 26 of those being from illness, 212 people hospitalized and a total of 10, 847 tested.
