1. Chasing Your Roots: Tips Through the Traps in African-American Genealogy 

Join Jo Ann Thompson for help in tracing your African-American family tree!

Programs will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Mondays through September.

2. Fall Storytime Programs

 Tuesdays and Thursdays       9:30—10:30

3. Genealogy Classes

Beginners with Louise Wright, Advanced with Jessie Whittaker.

                        Mondays from 10-12; Sign-up and 10.00 fee required.

4. Quilting Circle Thursdays from 10:00—12:00

5. Cloud Farrow teaches Art Class Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

                        Bring 2 #2 pencils and an 8 X 10 sketchbook.

6. Reading Around Book Club meets the first Tuesday of the month

from 12:00 to 1:00

7. Low Vision group meets the third Tuesday of the month

7. Brown Bag Lunch premiere event

Tahieran Brown, author of Annihilator of Innocence, will speak on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from12:00—1:00. Bring a brown bag lunch; the library will supply drinks and dessert.  Please make reservations at 256-927-5838
