“When we hear the word miracle we time travel back to water into wine and making the blind see again. The book, Everyday Sinner is the story of Centre native Andrea Helms and a modern miracle.
Andrea was pregnant with her second child when she woke in the middle of the night with searing chest pains that would be diagnosed as an aortic dissection. The doctor’s prognosis was grim for her and her baby. Andrea and her husband, Jeff, knew God was mighty and prayed He would give their family a miracle. Every day was a challenge with life and death hanging in the balance.
Through it all Andrea and her family remained faithful even when the doctors told them she or her baby may not make it. Everyday Sinner is a roller coaster ride of emotions. It will make you cry and it will make you smile. Most importantly, it will make you realize our God today is the same as yesterday and hundreds of years ago, and miracles still happen.
