Last week, SROs Sgt. Jordan Kelley and Deputy Brandon Harris attended the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) Annual Conference.
During their attendance, they were recognized as new NASRO Practitioners for achieving their certification this past school year. They also heard from several speakers and instructors from across the country.
They were able to meet with SROs from around the country as well as NASRO board members from right here in Alabama.
Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver said that he is proud of the work the SROs do in Cherokee County to serve the schools, students, and communities.
