Cherokee County Students Compete at Skills USA Tournament

Students from the Cherokee County Career & Technology Center competed @ Skills USA in the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center on Thursday and Friday.

This is the first year Skills USA has had the Mobile Robotics in Alabama

Mobile Robotics

Trevor Webb (Gaylesville) and Evan Chandler (Cherokee County High) made up one team in the Mobile Robotics and John Robert Moon (Cherokee County High) and Caden Garrett (Cherokee County High) made up the second team representing our County in the State Mobile Robotics Competition. Both teams competed to the best of their ability however did not place at this years event.

Electronics Technology

Representing Cherokee County in the Electronics Technology competition was Josh Sanders (Cedar Bluff) this is the first year for Cherokee County to compete in Electronics Technology Josh made us very proud with a 3rd Place finish in the State.
