Children’s Advocacy Center Celebrating 20 Years Of Hope With Casual Friday For Kids Campaign

The Cherokee County Children’s Advocacy Centers annual Casual Friday for Kids campaign is once again underway, this year celebrating 20 years of Hope.

For the last 20 years, the Center has been providing programs to students in Cherokee County schools educating them about child abuse and victim services provided at the agency. The Center also provides free counseling services to child abuse victims to help them overcome their trauma in addition to a number of other valuable services.

Every dollar given to the CAC is invested in the life of an abuse child helping them to begin the healing process.

Throughout the month of April, businesses, or individuals are asked to purchase t-shirts to be worn each Friday throughout the month.

The Casual Friday for Kids campaign has sustained the Children’s Advocacy Center’s ability to provide services at no cost to children and their families.

Order forms must be returned to the CAC Office at 411 North River Street in Centre between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. by Wednesday, March 13.

If you have any questions, please contact the Center by email at cherokeecac@tds.net or call (256) 927-2111
