CloudlandChattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader stated that a Cloudland man – arrested Wednesday afternoon during a drug raid on Stateline Road – immediately headed back to prison.

34 year old Joseph Rich, who was on probation for a variety of drug charges, was taken into custody when Chattooga County Drug Investigators executed a search warrant at his home.

Law enforcement reportedly found crystal meth some $3,000 in cash and a stolen vehicle at the residence.

The sheriff said that Rich waved his options and was sent back to state prison where he had served time before on drug charges.

Schrader said the investigation into alleged drug activity in the Cloudland area is on-going.
