Clyde LeDon Johnson, age 67 of Leesburg, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 18th, 2020. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 21st at 11:AM at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Bro. Daniel Farley officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:AM at the cemetery prior to the service.

Pallbearers will include the Men’s Sunday School Class of Shiloh Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde Johnson Jr. & Ruth Igou Johnson and his first wife Connie Walters Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Rochester Johnson; children, Ben Johnson, Randall (Kelli) Davis, and Russell (Jason) Payne; sister, Sandra Jones; brother, David Dwaine (Darlene) Johnson; grandchildren, Murphy & Sawyer Johnson, Mattie Grace & Sam Payne, Tripp & Austin Davis, and Hayden & Parker Jones.

He was born December 22, 1952 in Augusta, Georgia and was a 1971 graduate of Etowah High School. He served in the Air National Guard and was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where he retired from in 2013 after 39 years of service. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Pollard’s Bend. He loved his family more than anything in the world. He could usually be found working in his yard or in his basement, working on any number of projects. He was a lifelong fan of Auburn Football. He loved his church and his community.
