Colin Kaepernick Named Starter Against Buffalo Bills

Scott Clarke / ESPN Images(SANTA CLARA, Calif.) — Colin Kaepernick will start for the San Francisco 49ers for the first time in 11 months.

The team announced Tuesday that he will be the starting quarterback in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

The last game that Kaepernick started for was a 27-6 loss to the Rams on Nov. 1.

Kaepernick has gained notoriety this season for sitting or kneeling during the national anthem before games in protest of race relations in the U.S.
