ABC/ Heidi Gutman(NEW YORK) — On Saturday, during a packed panel at New York Comic Con, Common and the other stars of John Wick: Chapter 2 debuted a new trailer for the action sequel, and took part in a question and answer session.
The second installment shows Keanu Reeves reunited with his Matrix guru Lawrence Fishburne, who jabs Reeves’ titular supposedly former hitman about his penchant for getting into gunfights. “Apparently, you’re not very good at retiring,” he comments.
“I’m working on it,” Wick retorts.
Also on hand this time around are Orange is the New Black‘s Ruby Rose, and Common, who admitted at the panel that he couldn’t believe his luck. “I was super-excited to be able to be a part of this John Wick movement,” adding, “when I saw the first one, I was like, ‘Wow, this is some real cool s*** right here.'”
“Everything I love about movies was in John Wick.”
He, like the other fans, however have quite a wait. The film, which also stars John Leguizamo, and Ian McShane, opens February 10, 2017.
