The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state has now reached 4,404 – with a total of 82 confirmed deaths resulting from the illness.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health – there are currently 137 reported deaths in Alabama – with 55 of those remaining under investigation. 553 people have been hospitalized and the number tested stands at 36,363
Cherokee County now has 11 confirmed cases out of 83 tested meanwhile in DeKalb County there have been 288 tested with 32 positive results; following 598 being tested in Etowah County there are 87 confirmed cases and Calhoun County now has 63 confirmed cases after a total of 567 people being tested.
