Congressman Mike Rogers Meets With Constituents In Centre On Saturday

Third District Congressman Mike Rogers was in Cherokee County over the weekend to speak with constituents during a breakfast gathering at the Gadsden State Cherokee Campus on Saturday.

The Congressman addressed several topics ranging from politics to policy. Among the policies Rogers discussed were Tax Cuts and the affect they have had on the nation’s economic condition –

Congressman Rogers also addressed some issues regarding our local farmers, the Farm Bill –

The Farm Bill passed in the House and Senate and will now go to conference.

Congressman Rogers touched on a number of other hot topics as well including; National Security under President Trump, Trade, the Supreme Court, the possible formation of a Space Force and the most talked about subject over the last several weeks, immigration.
