COVID-19 Vaccine Still Available To Those That Want It

Appointments are still available for the COVID-19 vaccine for those who wish to receive it.
 
Clinics offering the vaccine in Cherokee County include; Main Street Family Care, Lakeside Primary Care, Floyd Primary Care, Floyd Urgent Care, Complete Family Care in Leesburg, Dean’s Pharmacy in Centre, Perry Medical Clinic, Johnson’s Pharmacy in Cedar Bluff, the Cherokee County Health Department and Floyd-Cherokee Medical Center. The Cherokee County Rescue Squad, ADPH and the National Guard are hosting a drive-thru clinic on Wednesday’s at the Squad Building. This is a free clinic and no appointment is necessary.
 
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, there have been 10,692 doses of the vaccine administered in Cherokee County as of May, 11th. 6, 642 people have received one or more doses and 5, 192 people have been fully vaccinated – that equates to a little over 30% of
Cherokee County’s population.
