CRS Printing & Promotions is becoming The Franklin Press Printing

The name has changed – but the people remain the same.

CRS Printing & Promotions in Centre is becoming The Franklin Press Printing.

Longtime CRS owners Carl and Charity McDuff purchased the Franklin Press of Rome, Georgia back in May of 2011 and that move helped then make the transition from being a strictly regional printer to one with a national market.

The range of services has now increased dramatically and with CRS’s acquisition of the Franklin Press they now have customers in 28 states as well as Canada and Mexico – however, the shift in marketplace has not affected their dedication to local service and quality workmanship.

Carl shared with us a little of the background on CRS – and on the purchase of Franklin Press

Carl went on to explain, that rather than try and run two separate businesses, it became clear over time, that everything should simply be combined under one roof, and with Franklin Press already having nationwide name recognition – that was the name they should operate under.

They still have the same people that Cherokee County residents have known and trusted for close to 20 years, and they have added personnel to take care of the expanded customer base and work-load.

They’re also expanding and remodeling their facility on the Chesnut Bypass in Centre in order to accommodate the company’s growth.

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting for the official name change.
