Cyber Monday Expected to Hit New Highs in On-line Shopping Numbers

Cyber Monday 1

Today is Cyber Monday, and it’s what many people now consider to be the “official” kick-off to the holiday shopping season.

In the wake of a record-breaking holiday shopping weekend Cyber Monday is expected be a time when shoppers are ready to get down to business in the buying game.

Black Friday this year (2016) greatly exceeded expectations leading retailers to hope for an even higher on-line success rate than in previous years.

Experts say Cyber Monday shoppers should put some strategy into their gift-gathering – for example, if you don’t buy something right away and leave it in your cart retailers may email you additional discounts as an incentive to actually “make the buy”; don’t forget by clearing your browser it will allow you to see the lowest prices on the items you’re interested in.

One note of caution, you should avoid public Wi-Fi because it could leave you vulnerable to hackers trying to steal your credit card information.

Remember, shop smart, shop safely.
