Daniel Sherman Byrd, age 62 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, May 8th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, May 11th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Billy Kellett officiating; burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM Saturday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include John Scarborough, Michael Scarborough, Joshua Scarborough, Ben Byrd, Neil Johnson, Phillip Pittman.
Survivors include daughters, Tiffany Byrd Bruce of Summerville, GA, Amanda Hartman Parker of Menlo, GA, Nicole Hartman of Menlo, GA; brothers, Robert Otis Byrd of Nashville, TN, James Benjamin Byrd of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Rebecca Jane Byrd Newsome of Clermont, FL, Cheryl Denise Byrd Scarborough of Gainsville, FL; 9 grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Annette Byrd.
Mr. Byrd was a native of Orlando, FL, the son of the late Sherman Otis and Rebecca Bernice Edwards Byrd, was a carpenter and was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.
