Deadline to Register to Vote in Alabama in the November 3rd General Election is TODAY

The deadline to register to vote in Alabama in the November 3rd (2020) General Election is TODAY (Monday, October 19th).

Voter registration will be closed during the 14 days leading up to the election.  You must be registered to vote in Alabama to cast a ballot in the state on Election Day.

In order to register to vote in Alabama, one must be a U.S. citizen, reside in Alabama and be at least 18 years old.  Voters also must not have lost their right to vote due to having been declared mentally incompetent by a court or have been convicted of a disqualifying felony – unless all rights have since been restored.
