Very little information has yet been released – however, it HAS been confirmed that a body was found late Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area, in the Grant community of Marshall County.
Marshall County Deputies received a call of a partially decomposed body being found in the 1800 block of Columbus City Road, with the discovery being made by the property owner – who immediately notified law enforcement.
Marshall County Investigators, along with the Marshall County Coroner’s Office, worked the scene throughout the night, and the body was later transported to the State Forensic Lab in Huntsville for an autopsy.
More information will reportedly be released as the case progresses.
