A consent search of a DeKalb County home has resulted in the arrest of a 33 year old Grove Oak man on drug charges.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris said deputies and a Geraldine Police Officer had gone to the home to serve Nicholas DeWayne Moody with a warrant for domestic violence when they requested consent to search the residence; afterwards they found Moody to be in possession of methamphetamine.
He was arrested at that time on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center.
