DeKalb County Will Soon Have an SRO in Every School

Sheriff Jimmy Harris reports that DeKalb County has an SRO in every High and Junior High School except Moon Lake School and the sheriff’s office has interviewed for that position, and is awaiting the commissioner’s approval at this time.

Sheriff Harris states “we are excited to have all these positions filled. The SRO’s are a great help and we want to do everything we can to make a safe environment for the students and the teachers. I want to thank the County Commission and the School Board for all their help in making this possible for us to fill these positions.”
