A pedestrian was struck and killed on Highway 75 in DeKalb County on Monday night.
The victim, identified on that Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report as 38 year old Christy Loudermilk, was walking along Highway 75 in Sylvania, when she was struck by a 1997 Ford just prior to 9:00pm, causing fatal injuries. That vehicle was being driven by 62 year old Mary Haney of Henagar, who was listed on the report as being injured.
The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
