Daniel Adam Beaty of Valley Head is slated to appear in court today (Monday January 26th) in DeKalb County in connection with the death of 33 year old Daniel Thomas Fuller.
DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said Fuller went missing August 12th of last year, and his body was eventually found in a wooded area near the Mule Day campground in Ider.
Following an autopsy, the death was ruled a homicide.
An investigation into the death resulted in Beaty being charged with Capital Murder; WAFF TV48 reported that Beaty told Sheriff Harris that he had killed Fuller in self-defense.
Beaty is being held without bond.
