A Deputy was reportedly involved in a shooting Wednesday night on I-59 in DeKalb County – neither the suspect or the officer was injured.
According to a statement from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, “The northbound lane of I-59 was shutdown between Ft Payne and Collinsville due to an ‘incident’” – however, there was no additional information released regarding the situation other than the investigation is being handled by the State Bureau of Investigations as is standard procedure.
