Driver And Two Small Children Escape Injury In Single Vehicle Rollover In Cedar Bluff

The driver of a Ford Explorer escaped serious injury after the vehicle left the roadway and overturned on Highway 68 at the intersection on County Road 44 in Cedar Bluff just after 4:00 pm on Saturday.

DSC_0314According to Cedar Bluff Police the driver has been identified as Lillian Gilley of a Lyerly, Georgia address – Gilley’s two small children were also in the vehicle at the time accident occurred, fortunately all three walked away without serious injuries.

Cedar Bluff Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department and Cherokee County Rescue Squad were all dispatched to the scene.

The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation by Cedar Bluff Police.
