A one-vehicle crash at 6:30 a.m. Thursday in Etowah County has claimed a life of a Jefferson County man.
28 year old William Earl Jones III of Birmingham was killed when the 2019 International box truck he was driving overturned and struck a guardrail.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on US-431 around AL-77 near Attalla.
Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
