Dual Enrollment Information Night is this Wednesday (April 25th) on the Campus of Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre

 

Cherokee County school students will have the opportunity to learn more about something that’ll pay big dividends for the rest of their lives – getting ahead in the job market.  Gadsden State Community College presents Dual Enrollment Information Night Wednesday (April 25th) beginning at 5:30 on the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre.

GSCC Enrollment Specialist Amanda Martin stopped by WEIS Radio Tuesday to discuss that event with Morning Show Host Jerry Baker.

High school students associated with Gadsden State through dual enrollment are entitled to an array of benefits – they can use the Tutoring Center, which is free; they can also come to the campus and study in the library or attend lecture classes; they have the option of taking on-line classes as well, and one class, Precision Machining, is even offered by the Cherokee County Career & Tech Center where a student can go during the day and take that course of study with an on-site Gadsden State instructor.
