It looks as though the old K-Mart building in Ft Payne – will finally have a new tenant early next year. The Ft Payne Times-Journal is reporting that major retailer Dunham’s Sports will be moving in upon completion of the property redevelopment operation going on now.
A projected opening date has yet to be announced.
Reportedly, Dunham’s will occupy 50,000 square feet of the 80,000 square feet available in the building, leaving room for two other retailers yet to be named.
Dunham’s was founded back in 1937, in Waterford, Michigan – and currently has more than 200 stores across 19 states.
The overall project will be called The Crossings at Ft Payne.
