For the first time in many years, Cherokee County has a new Revenue Commissioner.
Dustin St. Clair was sworn in Wednesday morning in front of the standing room only crowd which had gathered in the County Commission Chambers, at the Administration Building in Centre.
District Court Judge Wes Mobley administered the Oath of Office – and afterwards we spoke with St. Clair and he shared his feeling on the event.
St. Clair defeated John A. Roberts in the General Election.
Roberts had served as the county’s revenue commissioner for 21 years
