The Alabama Wildlife & Freshwater Fisheries Department is planning on releasing an eagle on Weiss Lake this Thursday (May 24th) around lunchtime.
The location is at the State Boat Ramp (on the causeway between Centre and Cedar Bluff) – which is an Appalachian Highlands Birding Trail site.
Carrie Threadgill, non-game Wildlife Biologist, is in charge of the release.
