EMA Director Announces Cherokee County Storm Shelters will Open at 6:00pm Wednesday or Sooner if Needed

The Cherokee County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency Director, Shawn Rogers – has announced that ALL County Storm Shelters will open at 6:00pm today (Wednesday, March 17th); however, they will be opened sooner, in the event that the National Weather Service issues a Tornado Watch at any point in time.

  • Cedar Bluff Community Center
  • Cherokee County Courthouse Basement
  • Centre Elementary School Storm Shelter (open today only)
