An escapee from the Georgia Department of Corrections facility in LaGrange was captured at the Archie’s Foodmart convenience store in Chattooga County on Tuesday evening.
Sheriff Mark Schrader says deputies arrested Brian Keith Moree in the parking lot of the store, just before 7:00pm.
He had escaped back on December 23rd (2013) from the prison in LaGrange, where he had been serving a ten year sentence for burglary and related charges.
Investigators have yet to determine just how long Moree had been in the area – and what brought him to Chattooga County.
The investigation into the matter continues.
