Ethel Mauriene Patty, age 92 of Centre, passed away Sunday, December 10th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 2:PM Wednesday, December 13th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Neal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family.
Survivors include her son, William Joseph “Billy” (Linda) Patty III of Tampa, FL; daughters, Edith Mauriene Griffin of Elijay, GA, Gloria Ann Vines of Centre; sisters, Dorothy Hensen of Centre and Sandy Criwell of California; grandchildren, Tim (Trish) Vines, Cindy (Jeff) McCook, Matt (Stacey) Vines, Jennifer (John) Cook, Kimbley (Derrick) Sartin, Bethany Patty ; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph “Dub” Patty, Jr.; brothers, Irby, Junior and Melvin Dawson; sisters, Vera Mattox and Marie Goggins.
Mrs. Patty was a native of Etowah County, the daughter of the late Wallace Lee and Nellie Belle Stephens Dawson and was a member of East Centre Baptist Church.
