An Etowah County man reported 16 Black Angus cows stolen from a pasture on Baker Road near Attalla.
He told a deputy he’d noticed a hole in his fence on about Dec. 22, and he thought some of the cows had gotten through the fence there.
He reported the theft on Monday, after he discovered that all 16 cows were gone and a neighbor told him he’d seen a truck and trailer in his pasture on Dec. 22.
