Information has now been released regarding an arrest of an Etowah County Sheriff’s Office Deputy on domestic violence charges.
46 year old Eric Victor Doran of Boaz was not on duty when the incident occurred however according to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin he is no longer employed by the Sheriff’s Office.
Following that incident – which occurred last Saturday morning (September 20th) – Doran was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree, which is a misdemeanor.
He has since been released from jail after meeting his $1,000 bond.
