Etowah County Teenager Fatally Injured in Three-Vehicle Wreck Tuesday Morning

An Etowah County teen was fatally injured in a three-vehicle accident taking place on Tuesday morning in Blount County.  That Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report indicated the 1997 Honda Civic being driven by an 18 year old Attalla resident collided with a 2012 Ford F-150, then struck a 1998 Chevy S-10.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the Ford was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The wreck took place at around 6:00am on Alabama Highway 79 near Green’s Chapel Road – approximately three miles south of Cleveland.

No additional information is being released at the time and the wreck remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division.
