A 25 year old Attalla woman was arrested on a Chemical Endangerment of a Child charge in Etowah County; according to law enforcement officials Ashley Michelle Patterson confessed to smoking synthetic marijuana, also known as “Spice”, while she was pregnant.
She also tested positive for opiates.
She is currently being held on a cash bond of $10,000 and as a condition of bond she will be supervised by Etowah County Community Corrections; she must also successfully complete a drug treatment program.
No additional information regarding her arrest is being released at this time.
