Execution Of A Search Warrant Leads To The Arrest Of Two Centre Residents On Trafficking Charges

Deputies assisted the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) in the execution of a federal search warrant on Tuesday at a residence located on Powell Drive in Centre.  

The search warrant was the result of a cooperative investigation between Sheriff’s Office investigators and ATF agents over the past several months. 

A significant amount of methamphetamine, including an illegal lab, and firearms were recovered during the execution of the search warrant.  There were two individuals at the residence and both were taken into custody. 

58 year old Jeff J. Lowe of Centre was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, first degree manufacturing, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 

61 year old Janice M. Lowe of Centre, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Janice Lowe was also arrested on 15 outstanding warrants for various charges including unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property.
