Additional Security Lined Up for JSU Graduation Ceremony in Wake of “Disruption” Threat

Little detailed information has been released however it has been confirmed that some sort of threat was made concerning graduation ceremonies taking place Friday evening at Jacksonville State University.

University officials have announced that they did indeed receive, what they are referring to as an “anonymous communication from an individual threatening to disrupt” the ceremony although the exact nature of the threat was not disclosed.

As a result, additional security will be in place during the event at Pete Matthews Coliseum.
