The FBI is looking into a call that was made to a Birmingham radio talk show on Wednesday in which the caller claimed terrorists with the ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, were arrested in Marshall County.

According to Albertville Police, the caller claimed the terrorists were arrested in the town of Douglas and had a layout of Albertville High School when they were found.

Police say this is a completely fabricated story.

Albertville Police Department Spokesperson Jamie Smith told WHNT 19 News in Huntsville that the claim was in no way true, Albertville Police have been in contact with the Douglas Police Department and their Police Chief Chief is also unaware of any such circumstance or arrest.

Smith says Albertville Police have also contacted the local FBI office about the matter.

The FBI is also going to investigate the phone call in an attempt to determine its origin and look into possible criminal charges.
