Face Cover Requirements Lifted For Centre Middle School, All Cherokee County Schools Are Below The 10% Quarantine Threshold

As of Friday, January 21st, all Cherokee County Schools are below the 10% quarantine threshold. Therefore, the face cover requirement for Centre Middle School is lifted at this time. The school system will continue to monitor the data for all schools on a daily basis.

Currently, there are 280 quarantines throughout the entire school system with 222 of those due to return to school Monday.

The Cherokee County School Board asks everyone to practice safe health habits at all times to help slow the spread of COVID, and all sickness, in the community. Please remember to maintain social distance, wash hands often, and cover coughs and sneezes.

Cherokee County Schools remain committed to providing a safe in-person learning environment for our students and staff members.
