The GSP report said that Clarke was driving east on GA 140 when he negotiated `a curve at a high rate of speed`.

The report added that Mooney and a passenger in Mooney`s car, Marsha Lynn Coleman, age 60, had approached a curve when Clarke`s vehicle `crossed the fog line leaving its lane and re-entered the eastbound lane.` Those reports continued `After entering the eastbound lane Clarke`s vehicle traveled approximately 42 feet before crossing the center line and entering the westbound lane. After entering the westbound lane Clarke`s vehicle struck Mooney`s vehicle in the left front`.

`After impact Mooney`s car rotated counter clockwise and stuck the guardrail face with its rear coming to an uncontrolled final rest in the westbound lane facing south,` reports added.

Investigators added that Clarke`s vehicle turned counter clockwise for a short distance then began to `vault for approximately 59 feet landing on its roof. After landing on its roof the truck began to slide for approximately 57 feet striking the guardrail face on the north shoulder with its rear.

`Clarke`s vehicle then began to rotate counter clockwise on its roof sliding across the center line again, entering the eastbound lane of travel for approximately 108 feet. `At that point, Clarke`s vehicle struck the guardrail on the south shoulder with its rear facing north on its roof.

During the collision, GSP investigators said that Clarke was partially ejected from the vehicle after they said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
