Firefighters Quickly Put Out Stove Fire at County Road 585 Home

The Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville and Centre fire departments were all dispatched to the scene of what was initially believed to have been a structure fire, at the intersection of County Road 585 and 92, at around 11:15 Thursday morning.

Upon their arrival, firefighters were met by a slight amount of smoke but no visible fire, and they quickly learned that the stove had caught fire; the blaze was quickly contained and the stove was pulled from the kitchen and removed from the home with no one being hurt.
