Firefighters Respond To Apartment Fire In Cedar Bluff

Cedar Bluff, Centre and Gaylesville firefighters were called to the scene of an apartment fire on Boundary Court just off of Highway 68 East in Cedar Bluff. That call wen out just before 3:00 Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy flames coming from one of the apartments units in a four apartment duplex. Firefighters were able to gain entry and extinguish the blaze, the adjoining units suffered smoke damage but fortunately no one was injured.

Cherokee County EMA Director Shawn Rogers, Cedar Bluff Police, Cherokee County Fire/Arson Investigator Jordan Kelly and Cherokee Electric Co-op crews also responded to the scene.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
