Firefighters from Spring Creek, McCords, Ellisville, Cedar Bluff and Centre Fire Departments responded to the Alabama Belle off of County Road 22 at approximately 8:30 Monday night.
The initial call came into 911 as a fire alarm call with confirmation from someone at the facility shortly after, firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the top floor of the building and at that point immediately began evacuating residents.
Cherokee EMS, and Sheriffs Office deputies also responded, no injuries were reported. The exact cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
