At 4:10 pm Thursday units from Piedmont, Mt.Weisner and Ellisville fire departments were dispatched to a house fire at the intersection of County Road 6 & 67.

According to Piedmont Fire Chief Mike Ledbetter, Piedmont units were the first to arrive and found smoke coming from a double wide mobile home, an interior fire attack was initiated and the fire was quickly brought under control.

There was considerable damage to the inside of the structure, no one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries, there is no cause for the fire at this time.
