Units from McCords, Spring Creek and Cave Spring Fire Departments in addition to Floyd EMS were dispatched to a report of a structure fire around 5:45 Tuesday afternoon.
McCords Fire Chief Rich Lindsey said that upon arrival units found the structure, an out building, to be fully involved.
Units then focused their efforts on protecting the adjacent residence which received minor damage. The exact cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
