Firefighters with the McCord’s Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of a structure fire on County Road 29 at around 6:20 Wednesday morning.
A passerby notified dispatch that a barn was on fire near the Westbrook Trailer Park.
It appears it was a re-start of a blaze that had started Tuesday afternoon causing extensive damage to the barn. Fortunately, no other structures were believed to be in danger due to the re-start.
The McCord’s, Spring Creek and Cave Spring departments had all initially responded to the scene at around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon – arriving to find the barn already fully involved.
