Five people were arrested locally on drug charges Monday.

Anthony Miles Yarbrough, age 45 – was charged with Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance and with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance; meanwhile Michael Wayne Marable, age 27 and Samantha Marie Steele, age 23 were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All three are residents of Gaylesville.

Yarbrough was booked into jail just after 6:00pm Marable and Steele just prior to 3:00pm – all three remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting setting of bond.

Ashleigh Jordan Kelley, age 23 and Christopher Adam Camp, age 25, both of Leesburg were charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Both were booked into the Detention Center around 8:00pm and released at approximately 1:00 the following morning.
